Easy to construct part made Mongolian Ger kits.

If you can strip bark, drill holes and knot string you can make this kit with no previous wood working experience. All you need is a cordless drill, a saw and a workbench.

Included in the sale is everything you need to make the frame of a traditional Mongolian Ger. The Ger is easy to put up and transport, comfortable to live in and has many uses such as extended camping trips, a meditation space, and stalls at festivals etc.

What you get:

A beautiful handcrafted professionally made crown, the crown is the focal point of your Ger. This is ready for you to simply vanish and paint to your taste. This is the most technical part of the Ger and is complete and ready to use.

Willow rods, fresh cut from the field, you have the option of selecting your own, or they can be cut and bundled ready. Cut your own Ger from our sustainable plantation.

Nylon cord, for stringing up the wall lattice (Khana) and adding the bridles to the roof poles.

Tape measure, drill bits, dowel etc

4 hand-made oak pegs.

Detailed Plans on how to assemble your Ger and ongoing email support.

A hardwood door frame, this is also made up and ready to use.

Complete with canvas sacks for convenient storage.

The cover. Once you have completed your Ger frame bring it to our workshop in Derbyshire and we will fit the cover while you wait. Made to fit your Ger perfectly from the highest quality canvas. This is 12 oz white canvas that is waterproof and fire retardant and is in four parts, a wall section with plastic skirt, the roof section with natural rope and eyelets attached, a canvas door and a crown cover. There is a choice of colours available for the crown cover, tension band and canvas door.
